John Lannan has been the best pitcher, starter or reliever, on the Albuquerque Isotopes and Jair Jurrgens had started to look like his old braves days but that is all put on hold for now.
Right-hander Jair Jurrjens was placed on the disabled list with a right groin strain, and left-hander John Lannan was placed on the disabled list with a back muscle strain, retroactive to April 17. Jurrjens had thrown 5.2 innings of two run ball on six hits in his first start. He struck out four and walked three. He struck out one in his second start and left during the second batter with the injury.
