The Rockies have had a rough summer, and this includes injuries. David Dahl suffered an ankle injury, which led to Yonathan Daza getting called up from Albuquerque. Daza has stunned in Triple-A, hitting .300 or better in the Minor Leagues since 2014. He’s been giving that kind of performance this time around in the majors, seeming more comfortable than he has before. The Rockies don’t know how long David Dahl will be out of commission, but hopefully the Rockies have the depth to keep things moving until he heals.
A baseball player’s life is not an easy one.
