It’s hard to look at the final score and remember this game was close and tense for most of the night. The Colorado Rockies hung tough with the Houston Astros and had their chances to win the game on Tuesday. Unfortunately they were not able to capitalize, and once the game went to extra innings things got ugly. Really ugly. Houston eventually went on to win by a final score of 8-2.
Error, hanging curveball, whatever
The whole sequence in the top of the 10th inning was weird. Josh Reddick hit a seemingly harmless single to center field to lead off the frame, except Charlie Blackmon was coming on strong and ended up missing a short hop through his legs.
