Arizona's Archie Bradley to DL after getting struck by line drive

PHOENIX — The Arizona Diamondbacks have placed pitcher Archie Bradley on the 15-day disabled list with a sinus fracture in the right side of his face after he was struck by a line drive.

Bradley was taken to the hospital for tests when he was hurt in the second inning of Tuesday's game against the Colorado Rockies. He was able to stand up and walk off the mound, and he later rejoined his teammates for the last moments of their 12-5 win.

The tests initially revealed sinus damage, and Bradley also had swelling above his jaw.
