HOUSTON -- Nolan Arenado's right shoulder is doing just fine. Thanks to the American League, it has time to heal.
The Rockies' All-Star third baseman returned to the lineup on Tuesday against the Astros at Minute Maid Park as Colorado's designated hitter. In the sixth inning, Arenado hit a go-ahead two-run home run off Justin Verlander to give the Rockies a 2-1 lead.
While in Houston, the Rockies will have a DH in their lineup Tuesday and Wednesday, allowing Arenado's bat to be used and his shoulder to get additional rest away from third base.
