Tyler Matzek reappeared for an inning of relief in this one. In true Matzek fashion, he, walked the first two hitters he saw but then struck out two before recording a fly out. He escaped the inning with no damage done.
Tom Murphy went 2-4 with a double and a triple. His .300/.310/.629 Triple-A line could use some more walks, but his 12 extra base hits in 17 games says he is enjoying his time in the PCL so far.
