DENVER -- Rockies assistant athletic trainer Scot Gehret has been invited to work with the National League squad at the 2015 All-Star Game on July 14 in Cincinnati.
Gehret, 42, is in his 11th season as Colorado's assistant trainer. For five prior seasons, he was the team's rehabilitation coordinator and worked with injured players in the Majors and Minors. Gehret began with the Rockies in a part-time role in 1995, between graduating from Colorado State in '93 and earning a master's in physical therapy from Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia in '97.
