Rockies outfield prospect Sam Hilliard (no. 13 PuRP) has seemingly found his swing over his last few starts. This week he played in three games and hit his first home run of the fall season heading into the Fall Star break — a two-run shot to right field in the third inning to score himself and Twins second base prospect Travis Blankenhorn. Hilliard has been heating up recently, not recording a hitless game since back-to-back hitless appearances on October 18th and 20th. Friday was also the first game since October 24th in which he only recorded a single hit.
