Arizona Fall League play began on Tuesday, and each of the Rockies seven prospects saw action in at least two games each for the Salt River Rafters.
Ryan Castellani (no. 7 PuRP) was the exception since he started Tuesday’s opener. All three position players — Tyler Nevin (no. 12 PuRP), Sam Hilliard (no. 13 PuRP), and Josh Fuentes — began play with hits in back-to-back games. Of the three, Fuentes was the only one to record extra base hits in back-to-back games on Tuesday and Wednesday, before going 0-for-4 with three strikeouts on Friday against the Scottsdale Scorpions.
