A year after making the playoffs for the first time since 2009, one oddsmaker is placing the Colorado Rockies in the middle of the pack to win the World Series in 2018.

The defending champion Houston Astros are the favorites at 17-to-4, followed by the Dodgers at 5-to-1. The Giants (25-to-1) and Diamondbacks (30-to-1) are ahead of the Rockies in the National League West, while the Padres (200-to-1) bring up the rear.
At the bottom of the list at 500-to-1 are the Royals, Tigers and Marlins.
