What the Rapids could do during the summer transfer window

COMMERCE CITY — The Colorado Rapids enter the summer transfer window — a one month period when teams can make trades or add players — in first place in MLS and with a roster that has no significant holes.

The addition of goalkeeper Tim Howard will be processed Monday when the window opens, and the club is expected to add defender Joseph Greenspan soon as well.

“We are in a good spot right now,” Rapids VP of soccer operations Paul Bravo said. “So I don’t think it would be a subtraction, or an addition by subtracting.
