Despite a historic winless streak to begin the season and two coaching changes the Colorado Rapids are still alive with two games left on their MLS regular-season schedule. Here’s a look at how the Burgundy Boys could make the postseason:
On the road or not at all
The Rapids currently find themselves in ninth place. The top seven teams in the Western Conference will make the playoffs, which start Oct. 19. To jump into the picture the Rapids need to win their final two games — hosting FC Dallas on Sunday and visiting first-place LAFC a week from Sunday.
