During the 2019 season, the Colorado Rapids scored 58 goals, tying them with Atlanta United, Philadelphia Union and the LA Galaxy for the third-most in MLS. This total marked the second highest single-season tally in club history behind the 1998 team that reached 62. The Rapids scored 35 of the 58 goals at DICK'S Sporting Goods Park in front of Rapids faithful and each of those 35 led to Wells Fargo donating $250 to local youth sports thanks to the 'Goals for Success' program.
Home goals from Kei Kamara (10), Diego Rubio (6), Andre Shinyashiki (5), Nicolás Mezquida (3), Kellyn Acosta (2), Danny Wilson (2), Benny Feilhaber (2), Sebastian Anderson (1), Cole Bassett (1), Jonathan Lewis (1), Jack Price (1) and Tommy Smith (1) meant that a total of $8,750 was donated by Wells Fargo to assist Gold Crown Foundation of Denver in their ongoing commitment to improving the lives of youth through their athletic and enrichment programs in the community.
