Tim Howard’s return to MLS, and with the team against who it all began

Many know that Tim Howard has played for the US national team more than 100 times. Who, among us, can forget his heroics against Belgium at the 2014 FIFA World Cup?

Many more will be familiar with his exploits in the English Premier League, first with Manchester United and then with Everton.

But who knew that his professional debut came almost 18 years ago … against the Colorado Rapids, the team he will join as he returns to Major League Soccer?
