Ahead of this Saturday's trip to New England Revolution (5:30 p.m MT), here are 10 things that you may, or may not, have known.
1. The very first MLS match involving Colorado Rapids and New England Revolution was staged at Foxboro Stadium in Massachusetts on May 25, 1996. New England played 87 minutes with 10 men after goalkeeper Aidan Heaney was sent off for handling outside the box. Being a man down did not seem to hamper the home side, as they took a 2-0 lead. Roy Wegerle and substitute Jean Harbor scored in the final 15 minutes to send the game to a shootout, which the Revolution won.
