Ahead of this Saturday’s home game against the Portland Timbers (TICKETS), here are 10 things that you may, or may not, have known.
1. Portland began the season with a 2-1 home win over Columbus Crew SC in a repeat of the 2015 MLS Cup. That was their only win in the first six games.
2. After 31 games of the 2016 season, the Timbers sit on 41 points. They have an 11-12-8 record, but all their wins have come at home, where their tally is 11-3-2.
3. The Timbers are yet to win on the road this season.
