Sports Authority Field at Mile High, and the City of Denver, will host a 2017 CONCACAF Gold Cup Group C doubleheader on Thursday, July 13, with the Mexican National Team as one of the featured teams for the doubleheader gamedate.
Denver is one 14 venues in 13 markets, and nine returning metropolitan areas, that will host the region’s premier national team championship. The Broncos’ stadium were hosts during the 2013 Gold Cup, with a doubleheader that featured Mexico against Martinique, and Panama against Canada.
Prior to the 2013 tournament, the Mexican National Team last played in Colorado on June 2, 2011 when they defeated New Zealand 3-0 in front of over 45,000 fans at the Broncos' home building.
