Back in August, it was reported that the Colorado Rapids were in “advanced talks” with C.F. Monterrey to keep leftback Edgar Castillo, one of the team’s most consistent and hardworking players. He joined the Rapids this season on a one-year loan with an option to buy at the end of the 2018 season and the club started negotiating the option this summer.
