Led by second half subs Dom Dwyer — who leveled the score in the 77th minute — and former U.S. World Cup veterans Benny Feilhaber and Brad Davis, the Supporters' Shield leaders seemed destined to take all three points in come-from-behind fashion.
"They brought in their top guys for the second half," Rapids midfielder Dillon Serna said. "We kind of felt the pressure a little bit but in the moments we needed to be sharp we were and we capitalized.
