The Colorado Rapids face arguably their biggest challenge yet this season on Saturday when FC Dallas comes to town. TICKETS
Dallas sits atop the Supporters’ Shield Standings just above the Rapids and progressed to the semi-finals of the U.S. Open Cup after defeating in-state rival Houston Dynamo on Wednesday night.
Although they have played three fewer games, the Rapids are only three points behind Dallas, have a better points per game ratio (1.95 to 1.82) and a superior goal differential (+9 to +4).
They’ll be looking to their league-leading defense (13 goals conceded) to stop the prolific Dallas offense which has scored a MLS high 34 goals already this season.
