It’s Rocky Mountain Cup week.
The Colorado Rapids travel to Rio Tinto Stadium to take on rival Real Salt Lake in a rubber match which will determine who will reign supreme over the Rockies for the next year.
As the current Cup holders, all the Rapids have to do is avoid defeat to retain the honor. A defeat would not only see them lose the trophy, but would also allow RSL to get level on points with Colorado at 43 in the Supporters' Shield standings.
The Opponent
Through 26 games, RSL has an 11-8-7 record and +1 goal differential.
