Robin Fraser after taking Rapids’ head coaching job: “In every way, I’ve improved”

COMMERCE CITY — Robin Fraser remembers playing professional soccer in Colorado on six-inch-high grass with a long jump pit in the corner of the field.

No stranger to making the most of a rough situation, the new Colorado Rapids head coach is taking over an MLS franchise with the fewest wins in the Western Conference since 2014.

Fraser was a defender for the Rapids from 2001-2003 and member of the Colorado Foxes before that from 1990-1995. Now he is set to be introduced as the Rapids’ manager Tuesday at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park.
