Report: Rapids U23 turn it around as they defeat FC Tucson 2-1 on home soil

The Colorado Rapids U23 team won their first home game of the 2017 campaign, defeating FC Tucson 2-1 inside UCCS Field at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park.

In the first half, FC Tucson got themselves ahead as Sebastian Pineda was able to find the back of the net off a corner kick from Daniel Krutzen.

Things started heating up in the second half, as the Rapids scored the equalizer in the 57th minute. The Rapids were granted a free kick outside the 18-yard box, and Noah Bushey scored off a rebound shot from Josh Goss.

With the score tied, both teams were itching to take the lead.
