Rapids win home-opener on Drew Moor’s header at the death

COMMERCE CITY — Two games in and this Colorado Rapids season has a theme. Just before the death, the Rapids got themselves a game-winner.

Drew Moor knocked a Jack Price corner kick into the net for a game-winner at the 89-minute and 50-second mark. It was Moor’s first game back in Colorado since his first stint with the club ended in 2015. This was the second straight week that the Rapids won in the 90th minute or later.

Colorado’s home debut in front of 13,062 was a celebration. The Rapids walked away with all three points by beating Orlando 2-1.
