The Colorado Rapids released their schedule Thursday, with a sneak peak at what could be their new home uniforms getting leaked on the same day.
Celebrating the 25th MLS season, the club will open up the year with the league’s first game in Washington D.C. on Feb. 29.
The Burgundy Boys will play their home opener the following Saturday, March 7 against Orlando City SC.
This will be the first year the Rapids do not play every MLS team with the schedule remaining at 34 games even as the league expands. Colorado will miss out on Atlanta United, FC Cincinnati and the new Inter Miami CF
Highlights of the schedule include the Rocky Mountain Cup series against regional rivals Real Salt Lake (April 11 at RSL and Aug.
