The Colorado Rapids will sign former All-Star defender Drew Moor, according to league sources. The 35-year-old free agent, who has spent the last four seasons with Toronto FC, has chosen to come back to Colorado.
Moor, a member of the Rapids’ 2010 MLS Cup-winning club, spent seven seasons in Commerce City. He appeared in 195 games and even notched 14 goals from the back line. In 2011 Moor set the record for most consecutive complete games played in MLS history.
As Moor has turned into more of veteran bench presence the last few years, he’s still found success.
