This week has been huge for the Colorado Rapids. The team announced the signing of forward Nicolas Benezet on Tuesday, Designated Player Younes Namli on Wednesday and 19-year-old Braian Galván on Thursday.
Benezet will join the team after spending the latter half of last season as a key piece in Toronto FC's lineup. Prior to that, he played in the top French league. The forward brings winning experience and a well-rounded offensive skill set.
Namli was signed by the team this week after nearly two years of work put in by Executive Vice President and General Manager Pádraig Smith and the club's scouting and technical staff.
