COMMERCE CITY — The Colorado Rapids stayed hot and took the lead on a goal by Andre Shinyashiki again. Winning 3-1 against FC Cincinnati on Saturday night at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park, the Rapids have now won three of their past four games, with the other one a tie.
The last-in-the-West Rapids matched up against the last-place team from the East, and now FC Cincinnati has the worst record in MLS. The Rapids placed themselves just six points out of a playoff spot at game’s end.
