COMMERCE CITY — Cole Bassett is a massive fan of soccer and has been for quite some time. His favorite club? Arsenal. The 17-year-old still refers to the Gunners as “we.”
The Littleton native, playing professionally for the Rapids, still has dreams of playing in the English Premier League. The dream for him would be to wear the red kit of London-based Arsenal as a player, not just a fan.
“That is my number one club,” Bassett said. “I started following them when I was 10.”
Bassett doesn’t hide his love of Arsenal.
