Over the weekend, the Colorado Rapids staff partnered with American Diabetes Association and participated in the 2017 Tough Mudder Colorado, which took place at Copper Mountain on Saturday, July 15.
This was the Rapids second year participating in the event, which boasts more than 20 military-style obstacles throughout a 10-mile course. To participate in the event, team members needed to raise $1,000 for American Diabetes Association.
All team members that participated received a complimentary registration, t-shirt and custom pullover for their fundraising efforts.
From 2012-2015, the Rapids partnered with Rocky Mountain Health Plans to participate in the ADA Step Out: Walk to Stop Diabetes raising more than $40,000 for ADA in total.
