After Anthony Hudson dropped the news at yesterday’s press conference, the Colorado Rapids have officially announced the signing of Wolverhampton Wanderers F.C. striker Joe Mason. Mason has been signed to a one-year loan with targeted allocation money and will take up an international spot when he’s officially added to the Rapids roster.
Rapids Executive Vice President & General Manager, Pádraig Smith says that “there’s no doubt that Joe will be a major boost to our front line. His finishing and movement in and around the box is very intelligent. He’ll not only help us from a goal-scoring standpoint, but he’s also the type of player who makes those around him better.
