The Dare to Play Soccer Camp was inspired by the birth of Regis University Men’s Soccer coach Tony McCall’s daughter, who was born with Down syndrome. McCall reached out to the Global Down Syndrome Foundation, citing Regis University’s charter of giving back to the community, with the goal to provide individuals with Down syndrome access to soccer.
Coach McCall assisted the Global Down Syndrome Foundation with the launch of its Dare to Play Soccer Camp, which provides boys and girls, ages 7+, the opportunity to learn basic skills and camaraderie from college and professional soccer players.
