Colorado Rapids’ goalkeeper Tim Howard played the first half of the 2017 MLS All-Star Game last night, and had a couple great saves to keep the game nil-nil going into halftime. All told, Real Madrid had an astounding 30 shots, though only five on target, compared to the MLS All-Stars 10 shots and two on target.
Borja Mayoral put the Spanish side on the board first, scoring in the 59th minute. Dom Dwyer scored in the 87th minute to send the game into penalty kicks. Dwyer also took the first PK and Luca Zidane (yes, of that Zidane) guessed correctly and easily saved the ball as it rolled on the ground.
