Just this past weekend, RapidsRabbi reported the rumor about the Colorado Rapids talking to 1860 Munich attacking midfielder Stefan Aigner. Munich had been relegated from the 2nd to the 3rd Bundesliga division and the club seems to be somewhat of a mess.
On Monday, Ryan Madden (Director of Communications for the Rapids) confirmed that the Colorado side had been in contact with Aigner and his representatives.
And now today, the news dropped that Aigner is definitely coming to Colorado!
Aigner started his career with 2. Bundesliga side SV Wacker Burghausen in 2006, and has moved around Germany since then.
