COMMERCE CITY — To say the Colorado Rapids are a bit ticked off is an understatement. Two days after a controversial 4-3 loss at Orlando City, the Burgundy Boys returned to training.
Their focus might be on what lies ahead with two home games this week, but they can’t shake the memories of the prior result.
“There needs to be answers about the inconsistencies we’re seeing every weekend,” coach Anthony Hudson said Monday, referring to the officials. “It’s not right. Something needs to change. We need an explanation.”
With Orlando City up a goal in the 74th minute, the home team’s Nani fell inside the box after a challenge from Kellyn Acosta.
