The Colorado Rapids have made tons of changes this off-season—both on and off the pitch—and just a couple of days before the Burgundy Boys head to Foxboro for their first regular season match, the club has announced the hiring of a new play-by-play radio voice.
Connor Cape has been covering the Rapids for Mile High Sports since he moved to Colorado from Kansas City in May of 2017, and has been working in the radio world since 2012. Cape got his start as an intern with Sporting Kansas City’s broadcasting and video crew, working with Cal Williams (who is now Minnesota United’s TV play-by-play guy) over the course of two semesters.
