Colorado Rapids went down 2-1 at Seattle Sounders in the Western Conference Championship first leg on Tuesday night.
In a rain-drenched affair, the visitors took the lead early on but were caught out by goals either side of half-time. It was only the second time this season that Rapids had lost having taken the lead. However, they can take confidence from the away goal they scored. It means a 1-0 victory at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park on Sunday (TICKETS) will be enough to take them through to a third MLS Cup in their history.
The crucial strike came in the 13th minute.
