Colorado Rapids collected their fourth consecutive home win with a 3-1 victory over Seattle Sounders at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park on Saturday night.
Jermaine Jones headed home his second goal in as many games to give Pablo Mastroeni’s side the lead after 20 minutes. Just after half-time Luis Solignac slid home his third of the season to put the home side in control.
However a lapse in concentration allowed Jordan Morris to fire Seattle back into contention on the hour and then Rapids attacker Shklezen Gashi missed from the penalty spot to leave the game in the balance.
