In their second preseason match of the year, the Colorado Rapids defeated USL side OC Blues FC by a score of 2-0 at the Olympic Training Center in Chula Vista, California.
The Rapids utilized two different lineups during the three 30-minute periods on Monday morning with 22 different players seeing action against the Blues FC.
After a scoreless first period, forward Caleb Calvert gave the Rapids the lead with his first goal of preseason. The 19-year-old received the ball outside the box with his back to the goal and after taking a quick touch and turn, he was able to find the back of the net minutes before the 11-man substitution.
