Colorado Rapids midfielder Marco Pappa has reported to the team’s preseason training camp, the club confirmed on Friday.
The Rapids returned to Commerce City on Friday for player physicals ahead of the 2016 preseason training.
Pappa “will be part of the preseason training group,” the Rapids said when asked if Pappa passed his physical.
The 28-year-old Guatemalan playmaker was reportedly found stabbed in an apartment in the Seattle suburbs with a beauty pageant queen last month and had to undergo surgery.
The Rapids reported the incident to MLS and the league is investigating.
