In conjunction with US Soccer, Colorado Rapids Soccer Club announced today that Cole Bassett has been selected for the US U-20 men's national team camp under new head coach, and former Rapids head coach, Anthony Hudson. The squad will train at IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida from January 7-19, concluding with a friendly against Mexico's U-20 side.
This will be Bassett's first U-20 camp. With Colorado last season, the 18-year-old midfielder made 20 appearances, 14 from the start, scoring two goals and delivering two assists. On the international stage, the Littleton native recently spent time with the U-20s in September where he made a huge impact.
