Soccer never sleeps. Even if the Colorado Rapids are on hiatus until March, Colorado-born soccer prodigies Lindsey Horan and Mallory Pugh played four matches in the past few weeks for the US Women’s National Team.
Horan played in all four matches, going the distance in three of them. In the second match against Korea for the red white and blue in Cary, North Carolina, Horan nabbed 2 assists as the Americans crushed their opponents 6-0. Horan has emerged over the past 12 months as an every-game starter for Jill Ellis’ USWNT. She shows fantastic balance as go-everywhere midfielder; she can both lay off the perfect pass and go hard into a tackle.
