The Colorado Rapids extended their current losing streak to seven in a row tonight thanks to a 3-0 loss to Los Angeles FC (Catch the highlights here). At times, there was some of the best ball movement we’ve seen from the Burgundy Boys lately, but it wasn’t nearly enough to get three points (or even one for that matter).
First Half
LAFC started out with a high intensity and early in the half Diego Rossi got a 1-on-1 against Tim Howard but kicked it just wide. The Rapids had a few glimmers of hope, including a solid defensive effort by Axel Sjoberg and Tommy Smith in the 12th minute, but unfortunately, it was only a matter of time before LA got their first goal.
