The Colorado Rapids started the day with something that many fans had been calling for: a change in formation, lining up in a 4-4-2 with Alan Gordon and Dominique Badji sharing striker duties up top. We also saw a change in the backline, as Marlon Hairston took over right fullback duties while Eric Miller pushed to the left side (Mekeil Williams was out on a red card from last game).
The Rapids looked more organized overall, and in the 11th minute, there was some great ball movement between Mohammed Saeid and Marlon Hairston.
