The Colorado Rapids have ended their losing streak, putting in two goals against the Chicago Fire and grabbing a point at home.
The Fire started out sloppy, allowing the Rapids to get on the board early when Dominique Badji put it just inside the post on Chicago Fire goalkeeper Richard Sánchez in the 7th minute. A few minutes later, Tommy Smith finally got a solid hit on a header for his first goal for the Burgundy Boys.
Unfortunately, the 2-0 lead was short-lived when the ball rolled off Danny Wilson’s foot in the 6-yard-box and it went in, gifting the Fire a goal.
