The Colorado Rapids travel west to take on the Seattle Sounders today for an early start with a 2 pm MST kickoff. The Rapids have managed to squeeze out two wins at CenturyLink Field with a 2-9-1 record on Seattle’s turf.
The Sounders have had a rough start to the season losing Jordan Morris to a torn ACL, Clint Dempsey retired mid-season, and there are about a half a dozen other guys who have suffered some big injuries. That hasn’t stopped the Sounders though, who have been slowly climbing up in the standings since they beat our Rapids 2-1 on July 4th.
