The Colorado Rapids are in Frisco tonight to face FC Dallas, another rival in fly-over country. The history between the Rapids and that team once called The Burn goes all the way back to ‘96. Even when Wes Heart was with Dallas, I couldn’t find it in me to like them. Now that the team is full of youth (Head Coach Oscar Pareja’s forte), FCD is the Jekyll and Hyde of MLS and you never know which team you will get on any given game day.
Dallas is unbeaten in their first three games so far (all at home) going 1-0-2.
