The Colorado Rapids host Sporting Kansas City tonight at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park for somewhat of a revenge match. The last time these two teams met it was in Orlando for the MLS is Back Tournament and the result did not go the Rapids’ way. Two red cards, a bad call on a handball, and a back-and-forth game had some of the Burgundy Boys feeling like the game was fixed. A win tonight is just what they need to snap out of their current form.
Sporting KC lost 5-2 at home last week to the Houston Dynamo, but remain at the top of the Western Conference table with a 7-5-2 record and 15 points.
