The Rapids have added a midfielder from England and a left back who has played for the U.S. and Mexican national teams, a league source has confirmed for The Denver Post.
Jack Price, 25, will come to Colorado from Wolverhampton of the English Championship, a second-tier league one level below the English Premier League. He played there with former Rapids striker Kevin Doyle, who retired after this past season at Colorado. The Rapids value him for his passing and tactical awareness.
Edgar Castillo, 31, grew up in Las Cruces, N.M. He has played his professional career in Mexico, making eight appearances for Mexico’s under-23 team and three for the senior national team.
