This year serves as year #4 that I've paid attention to the MLS SuperDraft. My Burgundy Wave boss and our resident rabbi have already locked and loaded on their assessments--to which I add nothing.
But as a fan whose hindquarters are firmly place in the South Stands, I found this SuperDraft fascinating. Clearly, the Colorado Rapids want established talent rather than drafting possible talents. They need experienced players (stars, even) in order to turn the corner. And we've heard ad nauseum about the possibilities of Alejandro Bedoya (whom we found is off the table--thanks, FC Nantes) and Alan Pulido coming to our little corner of the planet.
